Free Christmas Crafts:
Christmas Wreath with Candy

Christmas is one of the most beloved holidays. It is time to celebrate, sharing joys and gifts. Bring a festive Christmas shine to your home with easy Christmas crafts, one of which is the tasty Christmas wreath below. Christmas wreaths like this can be unique holiday decorations or make great homemade Christmas gifts.

This is a craft project that kids can easily make. It takes about 30 minutes. I hope you enjoy making it!

To make a tasty Christmas wreath like the one below you will need: a green artificial Christmas wreath, a red silk poinsettia bush (I bought this one at Wal-Mart for $1.00), Lindt assorted chocolate truffles (that I also bought at Wal-Mart), red, blue, and gold curling ribbon, a narrow red ribbon, and tools (scissors, wire cutters, and a low-temperature glue gun with glue sticks).

Step 1. Prepare the Christmas wreath and the silk poinsettia bush.

Step 2. Cut the poinsettia flowers off the stems with wire cutters. Using hot glue, attach the flowers to the wreath in several places spacing them evenly. I glued 3 poinsettia flowers to my wreath. The bigger the wreath, the more flowers you will need.

Step 3.
a) Prepare Lindt assorted chocolate truffles, red, blue, and gold curling ribbon and scissors.

Note: You can use any candy you like.

b) Tie a piece of curling ribbon of the corresponding color around one of the “tails” of the chocolate truffle wrapper.

Step 4. Attach the piece of candy to the wreath using the curling ribbon. Curl the ends of the ribbon with scissors.

I attached 4 chocolate truffles between the poinsettia flowers (a total of 12 chocolate balls for the entire wreath).

You can use more candy, if you like. It’s all up to you.

Step 5. Make a hanger for your wreath.
You can use any material you want. I used narrow red ribbon. Make a loop out of the ribbon and attach it to the back of the heart using hot glue or just tie it to the wreath if it’s possible.

You can create different variations of a candy Christmas wreath. For example, instead of silk poinsettia flowers, you can use decorative ornaments, or combine silk flowers, decorative ornaments, pinecones, and candy.
