St Patrick's Day crafts for kids – Tasty Money Tree
Looking for fun and easy St Patrick's Day crafts for kids? A money tree with chocolate coins instead of leaves is a great St. Patrick's Day craft project. It will put a smile on children’s faces. Kids love candy crafts. This sweet money tree makes a cute keepsake for adults too.
To make this St. Patricks Day craft you will need: a printable tree template (you will find one below), either colored pencils, crayons or paints, chocolate coins and double-sided tape.
Step 1.Download a tree template below and print it out on A4 or Letter size paper.
I use strong paper so it supports attached candy pieces. If you print a tree template on thin paper, you will need to glue it to a sheet of construction paper or card stock.
Step 2. Let kids color the tree with colored pencils or crayons. Kids can also paint the tree; in this case the tree needs to dry before securing candy pieces to it.
St. Patrick's Day kids crafts - step 3. Using double-sided tape, secure chocolate coins to the tree.
If you can't find chocolate coins (many grocery stores and party stores carry them), use Werther's original candy instead.
