Kids birthday cake homemade cake "Sun"
This kids birthday cake is easy to make. Bake 2 round cakes (your childs favorite cake). One round cake will be a sun. Cut another cake into 8 even parts. They will be sun rays. Using a knife, shape each parts base as an inward arch so it can fit perfectly to a side of the round cake.
Make yellow frosting for your cake. Put together the sun cake, securing sun rays to the round cake with frosting. Frost the cake. Sprinkle the edges of the cake and a circle around the center with grinded walnuts or confectionery sprinkle. Cut suns eyes, nose, mouth, and cheeks out of fruit leather or candied fruit.
