How to make a tasty carnation from a carrot.Step 1. Cut a carrot into 2 pieces. The thicker piece should be about 2 inches long.
Step 2. With the longer piece cut grooves along its length.
Step 3. Cut off thin slices from the end of the carrot.
Step 4. Cut the thicker piece around its side so that one end is thinner than the other.
Step 5. Cut a grid pattern into the top of the thicker end of the thicker piece.
Step 6. Cut out two layers of petal shapes around the grid pattern.
Step 7. Stick the slices from the thinner piece around the thicker piece in two layers.
Step 8. The finished carving.
