St. Patrick Day appetizers

These green open-faced sandwiches make great St. Patrick Day appetizers.

To make these St. Patrick day appetizers, you will need: slices of bread, 1 package of butter, parsley, dill, and salt.

St. Patrick Day appetizers

Step 1. Leave butter on the counter to thaw it out. It should be soft.

Step 2. Wash parsley and dill and chop it into small bits.

Step 3. Mix butter, chopped parsley and dill and a little bit of salt in a blender. You can add chopped garlic clove if desired. You will have green butter.

Step 4. Using cookie cutters, cut flowers, hearts or shamrocks out of bread.

Step 5. Spread green butter over the bread shapes you made in step 4.

Step 6. Put sandwiches on the plate. You can add salad leaves, an edible flower (made from boiled egg in this example) to the plate as a decoration. Your cute St. Patrick Day appetizers are ready.
